We are pleased to announce that Greenspring Associates hosted its Fifth Annual CIO Technology Day in Denver, Colorado on August 23rd. The purpose of the event was to facilitate meaningful customer and strategic partnership introductions for Enterprise IT portfolio companies in the Greenspring network through 1:1 meetings with senior corporate executives.
Participating corporations included DaVita, IHS, Intel, Microsoft, NetApp, New Relic, Okta, SAP, Xerox and Starz. Attending startups were backed by Greenspring Fund Managers including Accel, Amplify, Bessemer, Benchmark, Foundry Group, Greycroft, Lightspeed, Ignition, NEA, Redpoint, Scale and Wing.
Yvonne Wassenaar, Chief Information Officer of New Relic, kicked off the day as the keynote speaker. Her presentation on the Evolution of Enterprise IT was thought provoking and directly applicable to the event. Following the presentation, each executive and entrepreneur briefly spoke about their unique Enterprise IT challenges and solutions before breaking off into the 10-minute 1:1 meetings. Over 100 meetings took place between startups and potential corporate customers and partners.
