General Counsel

We are currently looking for a Deputy General Counsel / General Counsel to join our growing team. This position will work with our current General Counsel reporting to our Chief Operating Officer.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert and strategic legal advice to senior management on all regulatory and compliance matters to ensure legal compliance and to detect and mitigate risk.
  • Oversee the legal aspects of all transactional investment activities of the firm, including fund formation, investments into companies and funds, side letters, secondary transactions, monitoring of existing investments, and the sale of investments. This may include working independently on smaller transactions and coordination with outside counsel on larger transactions.
  • Maintain data, knowledge and the integrity of Greenspring’s operations and legal documents.

  • Provide guidance with respect to a variety of corporate governance issues.

Business Intelligence Analyst, Investment Team

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Investment Team. This may include but is not limited to helping to maintain the fund’s internal database (Salesforce), data collection/processing, managing our data warehouse and visualizations, assisting with LP/Investor data requests, and other ad-hoc data requests. Director of Fund Management, Location: Baltimore, MD

The Director of Fund Management will lead the middle office team, which will act as a key conduit between the Investment and Accounting teams at Greenspring Associates. Summer Analyst (2020), Investment Team, Location: Baltimore, MD

We are GROWING!  Three years ago we were 40 employees and now we are over 80 and need to add a Systems Administrator to our team. The Systems Administrator provides technical support to the Greenspring staff and assists with the management of our IT infrastructure. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.

  • Provide support for technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications, as well as virtual environment built on VMware
